小説：

　・読書好：Do you like to read books ? I love books very much.
　　　　　　本を読むのは好きですか?　私は本が大好き。

　・漫画雑：Lots of grownups love to read comic magazines in Japan.
　　　　　　日本では多くの大人が漫画雑誌を読むのが好きなんですよ。

　・ﾍﾞｽﾄｾﾗ：The auther of a vestselling book really interests me.
　　　　　　あるベストセラー本の著者にとても興味があるんです。

　・好著者：Do you have any favorite authours?
　　　　　　好きな著者はいますか？

　　　　　　Not really. But I read a book by Hemingway last year. It was
　　　　　　very good.
　　　　　　いいえ。だけど昨年ヘミングウェイの本を読みました。とても良かった。

　・読者　：The writer has lots of readers.
　　　　　　その作家には多くの読者がいるんですよ。

　・最新作：I want to buy his latest work.
　　　　　　彼の最新作を是非い買いたいです。

　・良書評：The book got a positive review in Publisher's Weekly.
　　　　　　その本はパブリッシャーズ・ウイークリーに良い書評が載ったんですよ。

　・ﾉﾝﾌｨｸｼ：I like nonfiction books better than novels.
　　　　　　私は小説よりノンフィクションが好きですね。

　・回想録：I'm just finished reading a memoir of a famous actor. It was
　　　　　　 great.
　　　　　　有名な俳優の回想録を読み終えたばかりです。面白かったですよ。
　

映画：

　・好き？：Are you a moviegoer ? I fact, I am.
　　　　　　映画はお好きですか? 　私は大好きなんです。

　・行く？：Do you often go to the movies?
　　　　　　しばしば映画へ行きますか？

　　　　　　No, I don't. I don't have much free time.
　　　　　　いいえ。　そんなに自由な時間がないので。

　・予告編：I saw a trailer of a blockbuster movie from the U.S. and
　　　　　　it looked great.
　　　　　　アメリカの超大作映画の予告編を見たんですけど、とてもおもしろそう
　　　　　　なんです。

　・アニメ：Do you know that Japanese animated movies are popular
　　　　　　in the Western countries ?
　　　　　　西洋では日本のアニメ映画が人気なの、ご存じですか?

　・家族向：Family films are sometimes boring to me.
　　　　　　家族向け映画はときどき退屈に感じることがあります。

　・ｺﾒﾃﾞｨ ：I sometimes go to see a comedy film when I wanted to laugh
　　　　　　from the bottom of my heart.
　　　　　　心の底から笑いたいときに、たまにコメディ映画を見に行くんですよ。

　・ホラー：I don't like horror movies because I sometimes become
　　　　　　sleepless after I saw them.
　　　　　　ホラー映画は好きじゃないんです。ときどき、見たあとに怖くて眠れな
　　　　　　くなってしまって。

　・ﾐｽﾃﾘｰ ：I love mystery books and I also love mystery films.
　　　　　　私は推理小説も好きだし、ミステリー映画も好きです。

　・ｱｶﾃﾞﾐｰ：It is an Oscar winning movie, isn't it ?
　　　　　　これはアカデミー賞を取った映画ですよね ?

芸能界：

　・興味　：I'm so interested in the show business.
　　　　　　私は芸能界にとても興味があります。

　・女優　：A famous actress is going to have a baby.
　　　　　　有名な女優さんに子供が生まれるんですよね。

　　　　　　Do you know about that ?
　　　　　　知ってます?

　・俳優　：The actor is known for his poor performances.
　　　　　　その俳優は演技が下手なことで有名なんです。

　・有名に：Would you like to become famous?
　　　　　　あなたは有名になりたいですか？

　　　　　　No. I need privacy. Famous people are always bothered by
　　　　　　photographers and the media.
　　　　　　いいえ。プライバシーが必要なので。有名人はいつもカメラマンと
　　　　　　メディアに悩まされている。
