初めての講師と初期の会話

　初めての講師とレッスンを開始した場合、最初の数回は自己紹介の
　延長上となる、似たような会話をするのではないでしょうか。

　今回はそのような会話について、まとめてみました。
　いろいろな話題があるので、数回に分けて掲載していきます。

01：(趣味) 性格

　・My hobbies are fishing and swimming.
　　わたしの趣味は釣りと水泳です。

　・I also like going out drinking with my friends.
　　友人と一杯飲みに行くのも好きです。

　　　⇒Could you tell me about yourself ?
　　　　あなたについて教えてくれませんか ?

　・I think I'm a pretty outgoing person.
　　わたしはかなり社交的だと思います。

　　　⇒How would you describe your character ?
　　　　あなたは自分の性格をどう表現しますか ?

02：ふるさと

　・I was born in a small town in rural Sizuoka.
　　わたしは静岡の田舎にある小さな町で生まれました。

　・It has a population of about 5,000 people.
　　人口は5000人くらいです。

　　　⇒Where's your hometown ?
　　　　あなたの故郷はどこですか ?

　　　⇒What's your hometown like ?
　　　　故郷はどのようなところですか?

03：学校

　・I studied economics at the University of Tokyo.
　　東京の大学で経済学を勉強していました。

　・I had a very fulfilling school life.
　　とても充実した学校生活を送っていました。

　・The most memorable experience of school life is the school festival.
　　学校生活でもっとも印象に残る経験は学校祭です。

　　　⇒Where did you go to school ?
　　　　どちらの学校に行きましたか?

　　　⇒What's your best memory of your school days ?
　　　　学生時代の一番いい思い出は何ですか ?

04：天気予報

　・We may have a little rain tonight.
　　夜に、少し雨が降るかもしれないとのことでした。

　　　⇒How about in philippines ?
　　　　フィリピンはどうですか？

　　　⇒Do you know the weather forecast / for tomorrow ?
　　　　明日の天気予報知ってる？

　　　　Yes, it says / it'll be fine.
　　　　ええ、晴れるだろうと言っています。

05：体調／風邪

　・What's wrong ?
　　どうしたのですか？

　　　⇒I'm a little feverish.
　　　　ちょっと熱っぽくて。

　・How are you feeling?
　　気分はどうですか?

　　　⇒I'm not feeling well. Maybe I caught a cold.
　　　　あまり良くありません。多分、風邪をひいたのではないかと思います。

　・Do you have a fever?
　　熱はありますか?

　　　⇒I don't think so, but I have a bad headache.
　　　　ないと思いますが、頭がとても痛いです。

　・That's too bad. I hope / you get well soon.
　　それはいけませんね。早く良くなるといいですね。

　　　⇒Thanks, I will. I'm going to see the doctor / today.
　　　　ありがとう。今日、お医者さんに診てもらうつもりです。
　

06：家族

　・There are five people in my family.
　　わたしの家族は５人です。

　　　⇒How many people are there in your family ?
　　　　あなたの家族は何人ですか？

　　　⇒How large is your family ?
　　　　家族は何人ですか ?

　　　⇒Do you like doing things with your family ?
　　　　家族でいろいろなことをするのが好きですか ?

　　　⇒What do your parents do ?
　　　　ご両親は何をなさっていますか ?

　　　⇒Are your parents healthy ?
　　　　両親はお元気ですか ?

07：子ども

　・I have three children.
　　３人の子供がいます。

　・Two sons and a daughter.
　　２人の息子と娘が一人。

　　　⇒Do you have any children ?
　　　　子供は何人かいますか ?

　　　⇒Do you like to play with children ?
　　　　子供と遊ぶのは好きですか ?

08：友だち

　・I have many friends in Japan and foreign countries.
　　日本と外国に多くの友人がいます。

　　　⇒Do you have many friends ?
　　　　たくさん友達がいますか ?

　　　⇒What do you usually do with your friends ?
　　　　友達と普段何をしますか ?

09：趣味

　・What are your hobbies?
　　趣味は何ですか?

　　　⇒I'm learning tea ceremony.
　　　　お茶を習っています。

　・Are you interested in Japanese culture?
　　日本の文化に興味がありますか?

　　　⇒Yes, very much.
　　　　はい、とてもあります。

　・How long have you been learning it?
　　どれくらい、お茶を習っているのですか?

　　　⇒For almost two years.
　　　　もうじき2年になります。

10：音楽

　・I enjoy playing the piano on weekends.
　　週末にはピアノを弾くのが好きです。

　　　⇒Do you play any musical instruments ?
　　　　何か楽器を弾きますか ?

　　　⇒What kind of music do you like ?
　　　　どんな音楽が好きですか ?

　　　⇒Do you sometimes go to a concert ?
　　　　ときどきコンサートに行ったりしますか?
